UpSTREAM teaches STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) to Seattle students in grades 3-5, working to bridge gaps caused by disproportionate access to
STREAM opportunities through accessible and culturally-relevant STREAM education.
UpSTREAM offers STREAM Labs, a quarterly in-person workshop, LiveSTREAMs, a monthly online workshop,
and Online Tutoring, a weekly 1:1 tutoring service. These programs allows students to explore STREAM accessibly!
Behind UpSTREAM
UpSTREAM was founded by Seattle high school students driven by their ambition to contribute to their diverse community through STREAM education. Since its
establishment, students from high schools across the city have volunteered for all three of UpSTREAM's programs.
We ensure that our instructors exceed rigorous standards to provide students with the best experience possible.
